Planning is key when producing any piece of work , you use a plan to know what objects or scenes will feature in your scene. You also need to plan to find out which roles each group member will do and make sure they know what this role consists of.
Roles within film creation -
Camera operator : in more familar terms , a cameraman is responibale for what is captured with the camera , he is also responsbile for the pyshical movement of the camera and what it picks up . Cameramen can either be photographers or videographers.
Actors : the actors are all the characters what are seen in the film , they are resposible for bringing the stroyboard to live and showing the meaning and direction of the film . There role consists of acting to show what emotion is needed in the scene.
sound techinans : they are responsible for what sound is used in the film and how they use it effectivily ; it is thier role to decide which sounds effects or methods are used to enchance the effect of the scene . They are also responibitly for delievring the sound.
Editors : The editors are responsible for what cuts and specail effects are used within the scene , they must decide what is most appropiate for the scene. They as a role have to have a strong relationship with the camera operates are they are given the content from them , and can do effective or uneffective scenes depending on the content of the shots taken by the camera operator.
Film director : a film director is responblie for the direction of the film , and the dramatic attributes of a film , they as a role , also have to support the actors and crew ith advice and guidance. Directors enforce the desire of the film producer and must bring the producers idea's to life whether it be following thier excact ideas or tweeking them for dramatic and cinematic effect to create a good viewing pleasure. The director must have a close bond with all the crew , specifally the editor as , the editor produces the final touch to the film that must been seen over with the film director.
Location manager : The role of location manager invovles choosing where the scenes are set and based , the location manager must follow the productors description of the scene via the use of the script and discover what area or place is most approipate and conventional for the scene.
Storyboard organiser : The story board organiser is reposnbible for whioch scenes go were and what must be included in the scene , he is also respobible for what scenes comes after each other as well ass showing the anrrative via the use of the scenes.
Roles of groups :
My role within the film will be the camera operator ; i will be responsible for picking up the content of the film. We have dicussed i will be effective at this role as i have good vision , as well as can keep up with the rate of the scene. I will aslo be performing the role as a film director , as i can offer help to the other crew members and produce more speficied ideas for the film.
Tre's Role within the film will be to act out the scenes and provide additional actors for use to use. He is good at showing emotion which is a postive aspect for an actor therefore he will be effective at this role. Tre will also be a stroyboard organiser , as he understands the narrative and the aspects of it , he also understands how tp plan out the scenes.
Jamie's Role will consist of picking the location where our film is based therefore his role with be the location manager. Jamie has a good knowledge of approiate locations for our scenes , and we believe he will be fundamental when enchancing the setting of the scene. Jamie Will also be in charge of sound , and therefore will be our sound techinan, we decided on giving him this role as he is intreset in music and we agreed he would have the most effect in the idea of sound.
By allocating roles in groups there is no confusion over roles and responsibilities , and therefore allows the filming and production of the project to take place quicker , easier and more effectively.
